2 and a half weeks old...

Schaefer had his 2 week appointment today. He now weighs 10 pounds and is 23 inches long... we are raising an athlete here!! He has been doing so well (and obviously eating well). Here are some things that he has been up to:

1. He always holds his head up and looks around. He has done it for a while now but I recently caught it on camera! It is funny to watch because although he can do it he only holds it up for a few seconds and then has to take a break. It is amazing to me how far he has come in 2 weeks... his neck is not as floppy.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. He watched his first GATOR game last weekend... We think he enjoyed it.... ( I don't know where his neck went in this photo!)
   
   
   
   
3. He still is a squeaky little guy... he makes the funniest squeaks!
   
   
4. He spends his days with mommy just hanging out and playing. Until she has to go back to work.... :(
   
   
   
   
   
5. He is always alert (during the day). Rarely will he nap... and if he does it is for about an hour. When he is alert he stares at everything... taking it all in! He is going to be one smart cookie.
   
   
   
   
6. He just got baby acne... which is only on his cheeks. Hopefully that will clear up soon!
   
   
7. He loves to go on walks and car rides. Normally he will fall asleep but yesterday during our walk, he was WIDE awake taking in nature!
   
   
8. He laid in his crib for the first time... Soon I am going to let him nap in it just so he can get used to the sounds and what not of the room.
   
   
   
   
9. His umbilical cord hasn't fallen off yet... hopefully soon?? This child just likes to take his time with everything!
   
   
10. LAST....He LOVES to sleep with his daddy! They are cute :)
